Reflectors

The rear reflectors were missing when I got the car.  I spent some time at Concorso Italiano a couple of years ago looking and measuring to determine the correct replacements.  Then I got lucky and a NOS pair ended up on eBay and I won the auction.  However, when they arrived, I found that they had a single stud to fasten them while my car had two holes.

I spent part of today looking at the reflectors and decided that I could take them apart.

Once that was done, I realized that I could remove the single stud and weld two 4mm bolts in the correct places so these would bolt into the existing holes.  Here you can see the center stud has been removed and the locations marked with a bolt sitting where it needs to be welded.

Here are the backing plates with the new bolts welded in along with the final installation.
