Kerry's 330 GT Restoration
I was taking some pictures for the rubber parts page in the registry and needed one of the rubber gasket between the heater outlet and kick panel in the foot wells. After taking one off, I realized that my car was missing these gaskets.
They were pretty trivial to make. I have some thin sheet rubber that is ideal for this application. First I traced around the outside of the outlet. For the inside, I found a round object about the right size and traced around it.
Then it was just a matter of cutting out using a pair of scissors. Once that was done, I used a small hole punch to make the holes where the screws go through. Here's the rubber on the outlet ready to be installed.
If you look close, you can see the rubber under the outlet. Of course, nobody but me would notice, but I know that they are there and correct.
