Round Reflectors

A long time ago I had noticed that the Pininfarina body parts manual showed round reflectors (#18 in the right picture) on the rear of the series II model.

It's quite clear that the series II reflectors are not the same as those in the series I, but the verbiage does not list a part number for 18 following the series II diagram.  That normally means that the preceding part number is still valid.

Then I came across a picture taken at the introduction of the series II car in Maranello.  I hadn't paid much attention until I decided to see if it happened to have a registration plate.  If so, I might be able to figure out the VIN for the 330 GT Registry.  When I lightened the picture I noticed that the reflectors look to be round and perhaps recessed.

Here's that area blown up on the left.  The right picture is of a 330 GTC which does have round reflectors.

So evidently at least one car came with the round reflectors, but Pininfarina kept using the rectangular ones for production.  Then the round recessed design was implemented with the GTC production.  Now my question is, has anybody ever seen a 330 GT with these recessed round reflectors?  If so, please let me know.
