Radiator Overflow Tank

The radiator overflow tank is mounted inside the curved fascia behind the license plate.  Since there are a couple of air vents right there, it suffers from paint over spray if those vents aren't masked off.  Consequently, my tank had several layers of paint.

In cleaning it off, you can see several of the colors that the car has had over the years.

But finally, all of the paint was removed with paint remover, a scraper and steel wool.

And a couple of coats of Eastwood radiator paint makes it look pretty good.
