Kerry's 250 GT Pininfarina Coupe Restoration (1643GT)

January 2019

A lot of work was done on the underside and interior to remove rust, bondo and under-coating.  The actual paint removal will be subbed out.  The amount of time this takes is amazing.  I sure am glad that I'm not doing it.  Here is one page of of the work done in January.  Click on it if you want to read the details.

The hood was taken apart, stripped with the frame and underside painted black.

The work continued on the engine and it was found that some of the valve seats had an inconsistent height.  These were machined down to be correct and lapped in.  The front cover was assembled and installed on the block.

The differential was disassembled.

The brakes parts were all disassembled and inspected to see what work needed to be done.  Of course, all of the parts and bolts need stripping and the correct finishes applied.
