Kerry's 250 GT Pininfarina Coupe Restoration (1643GT)
A reasonably priced bill with about 80 hours of work.
All of the emblems were sent out for refinishing.
A lot of work was done on the brakes, including an adaptor for a new brake light switch. All of the hard lines were replaced with new. The fittings were all zinc plated. The brake proportioning valve was fitted and hard lines from the valve to the front soft lines were made.
The choke cable was cleaned and oiled along with cleaning and lubing the speedometer cable.
Started working on the electrics.
The left rear wheel well got some new metal.
I took a bunch of pictures of the front end tubing for Tom Yang to forward to a European shop working on PF Coupe 1557GT that Tom is consulting on.
The differential has all of the proper finishes. However, the new ring and pinion from GTO Engineering is not correct. The offsets on the ring hub are wrong. Shaughnessy has a used set that he'll send up.
The engine and transmission are all done and set aside until the body is complete.
The leaf springs have new filler strips installed, oiled and plastic wrapped ready to be installed.
The rear is being worked on with a guide coat to see where the high and lows are.
