Kerry's 250 GT Pininfarina Coupe Restoration (1643GT)

October 2020

Anytime the labor report takes four pages, I know that lots of work is being done.  101 hours of labor.  Most of the chroming is complete and the parts are ready to go on the car.

When the car came back from painting, it was removed from the rolling frame and put on a lift to start the suspension installation.

The grille was been assembled and installed along with the badges and headlight buckets.

The radiator fins were all straightened out and it was prepared for painting and the radiator blind was prepared for installation.

The brakes were installed and new brake lines made and put on the car.  Note the chassis serial number was painted in clear so it remains readable.  The hand brake was also assembled and installed along with its cabling.

The heater core, housing and blower motor were assembled and checked.  The blower fan was hitting on the inside of the housing so standoffs were made to position it properly.

The final parts like the air cleaner, headers and heat shields were mounted on the engine.

The steering wheel was polished, the engraving removed and sent out for re-engraving.

The front and rear suspensions were assembled onto the car.
