Kerry's 250 GT Pininfarina Coupe Restoration (1643GT)

January 2021

The biggest bill yet, 354 hours of labor, along with a lot of sub-contracted interior work.  The motor was finished up with the heat shields, etc. and installed in the car along with the transmission.

I though I had bought all of the stickers needed a long time ago, but they needed the battery sticker and more radiator and heater hose stickers.

I never had the fuel and oil hose fittings and ferrules cad plated, so they disassembled the hoses, plated the ends and put everything back together.  The oil hoses are small and don't come off well enough to be re-used, but they took the longest one to remake the shorter ones, leaving only one long hose to be replaced.  One horn trumpet wasn't the correct size, but they had one in stock, so just did a trade.

The front and rear bumpers were installed along with the radiator.

Fixed the exhaust system for enhanced flow and went over tig/mig welds with gas to make them look right.

A lot of work on the wiring was completed.
