Kerry's 250 GT Pininfarina Coupe Restoration (1643GT)
The flywheel has a pin for alignment. Then there are six bolts with metal keepers that get peened over the bolt flats to prevent them from loosening.
The clutch also has six bolts, but three of them have a shoulder for alignment. I tried to order these bolts, but the ones supplied by the Ferrari parts places have a coarse thread while the flywheel has fine thread. Of course, one could just drill them out and put in an insert or a Helicoil with coarse threads. However, I think that Ferrari used fine threads for a reason, so I had special bolts machined to fit.
When I went to bolt in the clutch, I found my super-duper 330 GT clutch alignment tool.
However, the pilot hole for the 250 is smaller than the 330 one, so I'll have to make a new tool. So the clutch installation is put off for a while.
