Kerry's 308 GTS Project
I was looking at eBay for Ferrari items and came across a '78 308 GTS up for auction. Further, the seller was Tom Shaughnessy from whom I bought the PF coupe. I called Tom and found out that he was brokering the car for a friend of a friend. It's relative high mileage, ~75K, but the owner had had $15K work done about a year earlier. This covered most of the mechanical items that often get neglected on a 308, including belts, tensioner bearings, fuel hose, water hoses, etc. I ended up buying the car in the eBay auction. As there were all receipts from Ferrari of Los Gatos for all of the work done, I didn't feel that I needed to fly down to look at the car nor have it mechanically inspected.

I rode back down to San Diego with Tom in his truck and trailer along with his newly purchase '54 Europa and then drove it back to Seattle in a couple of stages. To follow along, click the next button below.
