Kerry's 330 GT Restoration
I think that my wife had a premonition about this trip. On the night before, I was replacing the ignition relay in the 330 close to dinner time. She mentioned that we could always take the spare Ferrari (308).
The next morning was a beautiful day. We left to meet the several of the group at a shopping center south of Seattle. When we got there, I felt the front knockoffs as the braking was a little funny. The right front was so hot I couldn't touch it. So we ended up driving the 20 miles back home. I was ready to run some water on the hub but it was cool by then. It turned out that the brake was dragging and had backed off enough to let it cool. When I tried to start the 308, I found that the battery was dead. So out came the spare tire, etc. so I could get the charger on. Forty five minutes later the car started and we got going again. Of course we couldn't catch up with the group, but perhaps that was best as one of them got a $300+ speeding ticket.
The highlight of the weekend was the car show. The town blocked off a section of the street in front of the restaurant where the dinner was planned. Wall to wall Ferraris! The town even got out their fire engine ladder truck and was taking pictures of the event from up high. By the time I realized that they would use your camera it was too late so I don't have a picture of the whole street.

In conjunction, the local daycare center was selling rides donated by some of the owners. The plan was to provide the rides the following afternoon, but as we were leaving in the morning, I was taking out people that afternoon. Here's Marsha, head of the day care, getting her ride.
The club ended up raising over $4000 for the center.
The beach was quite nice. We spent quite a bit of time just walking. As you can see, the weather cooperated, unusual for the Oregon coast in the spring.

All in all, a good weekend even after the false start.
