Kerry's 330 GT Restoration
The push button light switches are used in several places in the 330 GT:
In preparation for a local concours, the under hood lights weren't working. After some testing, I determined that the switch wasn't working properly. Sprayed some contact cleaner in it, but that didn't do the trick, so I removed it and took it apart. It is held together by four little tabs which need to be carefully pried out. The mechanism is pretty simple, two contacts (from each terminal) and a brass ring that the spring pushes up between each contact to complete the circuit.
Some emery cloth to clean each contact and the brass ring fixed it up.
