Original Vehicle Colours

4/2009: Ferari discontinued the Original Vehicle Colours document. Their solution is to have your car certified through their Classiche Department. This option costs several thousand dollars.

3/2007: Ferrari discontinued the Heritage Certificate and replaced it with an Original Vehicle Colours document.

I was able to request and receive the Original Vehicle Colours documents for my cars. In order to get these, you must register with the Ferrari Owner's Site. Once that is done, log in and navigate to the Vehicle Colours page (under Cars/Classiche from the menu at the top and then Historic Archive on the right) and supply the following:

The request was accepted and just two days later, I got an alert that it was available. Downloading it and printing on a color printer gives you a copy to frame or display at the next event. It is in A4 size, so use A4 paper if you have it or legal size and cut it to the 8.25x11.67" size of A4.

The first few issued had errors. The chassis number field contained the engine type and the paint and leather colors were reversed. I pointed this out and asked for new versions. A couple of weeks later they fixed the problem and issued new ones to me.
