Tom Yang Visit

Tom Yang came up to Seattle for a couple of days after the Monterey car week.  He was here with his daughter Ellie, so that limited the car stuff.  A high school senior this year, Ellie was looking at universities in California and Oregon that she might want to attend after she graduates.

We went down to the LeMay Car Museum in Tacoma.  I've been there several times, but this was the first visit for Tom.  My first exposure to the LeMay cars was back in 2004, long before this museum. We were met by a friend of Tom's, Tabitha, who is a director at the museum.  She gave a background of the museum and then left us to explore.  One of the cars was a 250 GTE, S/N 2971, on loan to the museum from the Haugland Collection in Eugene, OR.

We ended up with more time than I expected, so we had lunch in the cafe at the museum.

After the museum, we went to Dennison International so Tom could meet Butch Dennison and see his operation.
