Punch List

Here's the list (so far) of what I need to get done:

1. Brakes
   • Rebuild and bleed all of the brakes.
   • Install the emergency brake and adjust it.
   • Refinish and install the brake booster.
   • Refinish and install the brake reservoir.
2. Cooling
   • Make the radiator shield.
   • Clean and paint the radiator fan assembly.
   • Install the radiator with new hoses.
3. Differential
4. Electrical
   • Install the outside lights and connect the wiring.
   • Fix the stalk switches.
   • Work on the wiring.
5. Engine
   • Make an engine stand.
   • Work on the timing chest and parts.
   • Seal and wrinkle paint the valve covers.
   • Obtain all of the missing studs for the engine.
   • Fix the oil breather caps.
   • Sort out the clutch.
   • Assemble the engine.  The machining is already done.
   • Install the engine.
6. Engine compartment
   • Install the cowl drains.
   • Make a VIN plate.
   • Chrome many parts.  At least the big parts (bumpers, etc.) are already done.
   • Refinish and install the horn compressor and trumpets.
   • Restore the radiator blind and get a new cable so it works correctly.
7. Exhaust
   • Fit an exhaust system to the car.
8. Exterior
   • Make a belly pan.
   • Replace the outside mirror glass.
   • Install the grill.
   • Put on all of the emblems and badges.
   • Install all of the windows.
   • Make keys for all of the locks.
   • Install and align the trunk lid.
   • Fix up the garage rash paint problems.
   • Work on the pinch weld trim.
   • Fix the NOS reflectors to fit the car.
   • Clean up, undercoat and install the inner fender splash shields.
   • Install the bumper escutcheons and put the rubber trim on the overriders.
   • Install the fuel filler door.
   • Install the rear license plate frame.
   • Put the vent windows together.
   • Figure out how the sun roof works and install it.
   • Install and align the hood.
   • Install the doors and trim.
9. Fuel
   • Get the FISPA electric fuel pump working.
   • Assemble the carburetors, manifolds and linkages.
   • Install the fuel sending unit, tank and filler hose and pipe.
   • Replace the fuel lines and filters.
10. Interior
    • Install new carpet in the interior.
    • Install the dash and hookup all of the electrics.
    • Redo the leather in the interior and seats.
    • Install the heater box and defroster fan.
    • Fix up the sun visors.
    • Clean up the instruments.
    • Refinish the steering wheel and dash.
    • Refinish the interior mirror.
11. Miscellaneous
    • Sort out the nuts and bolts.
    • Find some missing parts.
    • Figure out what some mystery parts are.
12. Suspension
    • Install the Houdaille shocks properly.
    • Finish up the missing items in the rear suspension.
    • Go through the front suspension and check everything.
13. Toolkit
    • Fix the jack in the toolkit.
    • Accumulate a toolkit.
14. Transmission
    • Install the transmission.
    • Fix the transmission switches.
15. Trunk
    • Clean up and polish the various aluminum parts on the car.
    • Install new carpet in the trunk.
    • Fit all of the pieces into the trunk.
    • Make new panels for the wheel wells in the trunk.
16. Wheels
    • Stamp the wheels where the original stampings were polished off.
    • Rebuild the spare wheel.

Gee, that doesn't seem too long.  It's just that every line will expand by about ten times before it is complete.
